Cursing, he put his foot on the back of Terri's neck, and held her head under while a stream of air came to the surface from her face. Then the bubbles stopped. He kept his foot on her neck for a few moments more, then got off.

For years after his crimes were committed, the details of serial killer Clifford Olson's cold, calculating massacres were unknown. The Canadian was sentenced to 11 life sentences for murdering 11 young people in 1980 and 1981. He pleaded guilty to the crimes so there was no trial and the public never got to hear Olson's motives or other aspects of the crimes. Now, journalist Peter Worthington's new book, "Predator: The Life and Crimes of Serial Killer Clifford Olson" reveals the intricate details of Olson's murders as told by the killer himself in 50 pages of manuscripts describing how he killed and raped each of his victims. The documents were shown to Worthington by Olson's lawyer, Bob Shantz. As Worthington explains in the book, Olson wanted the writings embargoed until his son turned 21 "so he would better understand his father, " the killer explained. If you are considering reading this book forget it. It is not worth the time and the money. Heartless child killer This story should qualify as a horror story. Clifford Olson was a monster, the kind that gives one nightmares. Olson raped and killed children and teenagers without pity, without remorse, without conscience. After he had tossed away their small battered bodies, the search was on for the next victim. Ms. Broderick has captured the fear and horror that surrounded this serial killer and his young victims, whose families he continued to torment. Includes photos. Pretty much an expanded version of his Wikipedia page- a few article sources thrown in, but very lazy writing for such a massive story. Very disappointing. Illustrates the almost unbelievable creepy banality of a middle-aged, chubby schmuck who just happens to rape and strangle little boys and girls.

I worked beside one of the victim's parents throughout the duration of Olsen's serial depredations. Strangely, my coworker never talked about his lost son, just kept his head down. I imagine there was sturm und drang at home. To think this monster walked amongst us in my community for years before being apprehended! Hard to take... Interesting book! This book contains details of the life and crimes of child killer and pedophile, Clifford Olson. It is a cautionary tale of stranger danger. I highly recommend it to other true crime readers. This was well written. It flowed nicely. I have read other true crime books and they tend to jump around. Looking forward in reading other books by this author Great book too read I liked the information. I liked reading all the facts. The book got straight to the point and left just enough to the imagination What a monster Never heard of this guy, he was horrid! Spent 50 years incarcerated, but the 21 years he was out, did much damage. May he rot in Hell.

Volume 12 in the Crimes Canada Series by new author, Elizabeth Broderick is well written and easy to read. Clifford Olsen was a true "beast"! A child rapist who not only violated his victims but murdered them too. I hope Ms. Broderick writes more True Crime in the future!!.. This is the 12th book in the Crimes Canada series with this very interesting book authored by Elizabeth Broderick. It is about Clifford Olson who was a serial killer/psychopath who murdered 11 children as well as molesting his own sister. It is well researched and well written. I highly recommend it to any true crime fan. Not Bad. This story was about Serial Killer Clifford Olsen a Canadian, Who killed young girls and boys. He got away with a huge amount of crime and a couple of prison escapes. Good TC. Kinda slow compared to others in this series. They should stick with more established writers. Great True Crime Book This book read like a novel to me. It is well researched and has a great flow. I will definitely read more from this author.
