Results Help You can view your students' activity results on the Results tab of the Instructor Workstation. What results will I see here? Quia only records results for activities with a tracking setting of graded, so only those activities will be shown here. To change an activity's tracking setting to graded, go to the Books tab and click the Customize sub-tab. You can only set some activity types to be graded. All other activity types can be set to either practice (Quia will not track the scores), or credit/no credit. Note that assistant accounts cannot make these types of customizations. Viewing the results Quia summarizes student results in three views - class results by student, class results by activity, and the single student view. Note that if you select All books from the Books drop-down list, you cannot view results by activity. From these views, you can grade your students' activities and review overall class statistics. Viewing class results by student The default is to view the class results by student where Quia lists your students with a summarized score from each section or book in the course.

You can drill down to a specific student or section for more detailed information, including time spent on activities that you set as timed and graded. Note that if a student has multiple submissions for an activity, the Time Elapsed column includes total time spent for all submissions, not just the submission used for the student's grade. Click a student's name (or ID) to go to the single student view for that student. Here is an example of results listed by student for an entire book, from a sample course: If an individual student's score is italicized, that student has not submitted all assigned activities in the section. Viewing class results by activity To view the results by activity, select a book from the Books drop-down list and click the View by Activity tab. To view a summary of all sections of the book, select Entire book from the Section drop-down list. The first table summarizes cumulative class results for your entire class and calculates the mean, lowest and highest number of points, and score earned for the entire book.
