We like the product a lot but not as candy. Probably some purchasers will be displeased if they expected typical salty candy. We do like some salty candy, but as candy this is too salty for us. Here's a very easy, tasty chicken-lemon sauce recipe: 2 packets of Salt & Lemon Powder + 2 packets of Herb Ox sodium free Chicken Bouillon stirred into about 6 ounces of plain -- not sweet -- yogurt. Don't heat it. Use more or less yogurt to your taste. We like the product so much for general cooking / seasoning, that we continue to buy more before we run out. Candy is never what you remember as a kid, it these sour delights are close. True, the packaging changed, but I think the old packaging had some no-no ingredients? I'm happy with my purchase, and would recommend if you grew up with these.
